Blue flowers on solid green

Tea pot found over in Birkenhead.

Roses

Also gathered over a period of time - and I'm given to understand this is called "Roses"

Only Vase I've seen of this shape.

One of the interesting things about this triangular vase is that the glaze is very pale compared to the other pieces and the flower painting is badly run on one face. This lead me to wonder if it was a "trail piece" that found its way out as its not really up to the usual standard of work

I have a very large collection of Morris and James "trial" pieces they used to sell in their seconds department, quite a number which were not taken into production or ceased quickly eg their bird houses which did not survive the kiln very well I believe.
One example M and J  years later I found in talking with the original artist that mine was one of only three made - she had one of them. Its an awesome piece and I could never work out why it was abandoned.

Daffodil - gathered over a period of time

I particularly like these the blue glaze being reminiscent of the original work done by Morris and James at Matakana which I also found myself drawn too.

Salt and Pepper

I got these because they looked like a match even though they don't have Christine Harris's mark on the bottom - impossible as that's where the salt goes - from the Sally Army shop in Rosedale for two dollars.
Placing them next to the genuine article of the same pattern I can't tell them apart. Having said that I've never ever seen any other salt and pepper shakers that look remotely like Christine Harris pieces.
